On busy days I do a three-minute β€˜trolley reset’ before first client: set one timer for both the hot cabi and steamer, wipe their rims with a eucalyptus cloth, and take six 4–7-8 breaths while I dial room music to about 45 dB so I catch any hums before they bug guests. If I’m running late, I swap to a 30-second β€˜doorframe breath’ at the threshold and a quick listen check instead.

I keep silicone jar bands on my metal bowls so nothing clinks when the room is quiet β€” during β€œpre-shift calm” I quick-press the cabi door and stool wheels and add a drop of mineral oil if anything squeaks. If I’m slammed, I skip the test and just swap in my padded tray so the room stays quiet anyway.

And i tuck two basalt stones in a folded towel inside the hot cabi so my hands are warm for the first face massage β€” quieter than firing up the stone heater early, @luis_c75, but set a 5‑minute β€œpull” reminder so they don’t overheat.
