CE recs for acne and barrier repair

But has anyone taken a CE that measurably improved acne outcomes without compromising barrier health? I’m in Seattle and just completed a 6-hour corneotherapy module; now I’m hunting for advanced courses that combine evidence-based peel selection with TEWL/erythema tracking so I can tailor plans to client histories — recommendations, cost, and whether they offered case reviews would help. Would love honest feedback?

I’d pair Face Reality’s Acne Specialist cert with Pastiche’s Advanced Skin Analysis — think keeping a cactus hydrated without drowning it. Face Reality gives you acne/peel algorithms while Pastiche drills TEWL/erythema tracking; both were about $1k when I took them and included structured ‘case reviews’ or group case chats. If you don’t have a TEWL meter yet, look for cohorts that supply the gear on-site.

It sounds like you’re on the right track! Have you looked into the courses offered by the International Dermal Institute? They have some solid advanced skin therapy classes that could help you nail down that evidence-based peel selection.
